Lydia’s Lechon is celebrating their 55th year in the business, and they have something new!
A few weeks ago, we were invited to Lydia’s Lechon where they introduced their latest offering – it’s the Lechon-in-A-Box that will be available starting September 1!

What if you’re craving for lechon but don’t want to order a whole pig?
Sometimes you just have a smaller family gathering, or a small birthday celebration at the office, and ordering a whole pig, with all the logistics involved like allotting space for chopping, and finding someone to chop the lechon, is just too much.
Well now, you can order 2.2 kgs of properly chopped, juicy lechon (with thin, crispy skin and everything!). All you have to do is open the box and eat!
The Lechon-in-A-Box is good for 10-12 people. Or, if you have a party of 20 people, order two boxes! 
The Lechon-in-A-Box was developed as an answer to people wanting to order something for a small celebration, usually a birthday lunch for the team at the office. A whole lechon is too big for 10-12 people, and also quite inconvenient to chop up in an office setting, where the small parties are usually held in a small conference room or pantry.
The box contains 2.2 kgs of lechon. already pre-cut into serving sizes, and each portion getting its share of crispy skin, fat and tender meat. No bones, just lechon goodness. A bottle of lechon sauce is also included with the Lechon-in-A-Box order.

Another dish I like at Lydia’s Lechon is the Kare-kare con Lechon (P360)! It’s sizzling kare-kare using lechon meat *drools*. Lechon + Kare-kare = rice heaven.
